1. "Thankful For Thanksgiving" is a poem that speaks to my heart and soul. The poem talks about how we are all blessed by God with the food we eat. It says we should be especially thankful for treats like ice cream and candy. It also talks about how we have bodies to speak, eat, play, and work. It makes me feel fortunate to have a healthy body, food to eat, and a loving family to take care of me.

In the poem "Caterpillar" the author is trying to describe how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. The poem explains that the caterpillar needs to find a safe place to not be eaten while changing into a butterfly. The caterpillar seems to be in a hurry to find his spot. The caterpillar spins his cocoon and "dies". Then it "lives again" as a butterfly. This poem describes one of the most interesting things about nature.
